Of course it is hard to rate a lounge when you can’t even get in. American Express Centurion lounges have become inaccesable due to crowding. Cancelling that card at renewal. Also paying 50 bucks for a guest is ridiculous. Denver is probably the worst.

I’ll add one if you can’t control your children don’t come in. As far as I’m concerned lounges should be strictly age 16 and up. But I don’t make the rules.

I like the suggestion of joining in on any calls being done on speaker phone. I will definitely do that next time this happens. Maybe interrupt with a very loud (so it is picked up on the phone), “Sorry, sir, here is your business card back — did you want the lap dance with the leggy blonde or the brunette with big boobs?”

Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti was praised for her work. I suppose that she could have taken a vacation so she was well rested instead of being jet lagged and wouldn’t have been as tired. She doesn’t seem that type. She also owns her own airline.

Airline lounges are an example of failed airport design.

Once more, for those in the back: The better designed an airport is, the less time passengers need to spend in it.

I’ve all but given up on lounges. The Capital One at DFW is pretty good, although you may have to take a number and wait in line. I plan to cancel my executive AA Mastercard with lounge access. A better plan is to simply get a table at a nice concourse restaurant. I’m spending money either way, why not take what I’m spending to get lounge access and just buy my own F&B at a restaurant where people are not camping out like refugees?
