This was several years ago. The procedure at the time when boarding a plane with no ID was a thorough pat down. When I got back to LAX, I went to the original check point, was directed to the TSA office on Century Blvd, and blah-blah left that office in short order with my drivers license. I dealt with at least six different TSA personnel in three different locations, and every one of them was helpful and courteous.
What you put out to the universe tends to get reflected back at you, and knowing what we know about Martha McSally, that axiom revealed itself in the encounter she described, which is probably mostly lies and exaggerations, anyway.

Jim of SWA sounds like a great guy.

Who knew hamsters were such a problem for airplanes?

At least the lady with the painted toenails seems to take care of her feet.

Finally, Canada is a small country compared to the USA so it’s requirements to implement a more modern air traffic control system are simpler. Further, Canada doesn’t seem to have a political system that is as divided as the one in the USA. Also, selling petroleum and natural gas to the USA has made it easier for the Canadian government to fund projects. Major changes to the USA air traffic control system may require enough blood before they take place.

Why is it relevant how frequently you carry it?

Wow! So in other words, the FAA procurement issue has been ongoing through the Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Tramp I administrations.

“Phil C” and “john” are so damn tiresome….

Maybe Elon Musk should be put in charge?
