What is Scouting

Scouting was developed in 1907 by Lord Robert Baden Powell after he wrote a book titled "Scouting for boys". In 1910 the idea of scouting or 'The Boys Brigade' was brought to America. Today the boy scouts is about providing efective youth traning in such areas as character,citizenship, and persolal fitness. There are almost 1 million Boy Scouts in America and over five hundred thousand adult leaders. Boy scouts is oriented twards boys with self esteam, good character, and personal values.
